We teach all ages, but
have extra special skills in teaching children from an extensive background in
public school teaching, youth group work and grade school counseling. The artist in residence, Susan Brightman has an M.S.
Degree in counseling from Johns Hopkins University.
Possible expenses other than
registration fee:
1) Each person pays
firing fees for their art that requires Kiln treatment. Firing space is by the
cubic inch so you only pay for the exact amount of kiln space you use. Many ready-to-decorate
items can be simply stained or painted. They are not fired in a kiln and do
not have firing fees.
2) Each person may purchase ready- to-decorate inventory. We have a diverse selection from which
you can choose and immediately begin to paint, stain or glaze.
3) If you use more than
25# of clay per six-week class additional bags cost $20 for twenty-five pounds.
When you miss a class, make
it up by picking a time in another class with space available or come to weekly
“MAKE UP NIGHT”. We
schedule space specifically for you.
When you don’t attend a class the time loss to us is permanent.
Emergencies and the unexpected occur in all lives. When you won’t be attending
class, call in advance and pick a make-up date. Thank
you for helping to create a win-win. Use make-up night and general
class openings to get all of your classes within your six-week reserved
registration period. We’ll work with you to receive all six
of your paid class reservations.
