ADULT POTTERY AND CLAY CLASSES

Classes for adults are 6-week modules, in 2-hour sessions on Saturdays, Sundays, and Tuesdays. Adult tuition is $180 for the six-week class. Tuition includes instruction, use of tools, glazes and paint. You may purchase clay, greenware and bisqueware from our inventory. We have small and large, basic and complex items for you to decorate. For items that need firing in our kilns, price is determined by the kiln space required. You only pay for what you choose and use. We also have a gift shop of completed pottery and ceramics.

Some of our happiest clients are people who have had no previous experience with art. Remember when you weren't afraid to finger-paint or to get your hands dirty? CHILD POTTERY AND CLAY CLASSES

Classes for children age 4 to 12 are 6-week modules of two-hour sessions. Each child’s tuition is $180 for the six-week course. Tuition for children 4 to12 includes their instruction, first bisque selection, clay, tools, drawing paper, glazes, paint and kiln time. This is a set price value so that you can budget for the class.

BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Looking for a group activity? Have a birthday party at CeramicsPlus! Each guest completes one item and an additional personalized item is presented to the guest of honor. Prices are generally $25 per person unless special items are requested that require extra kiln space. And if it isn't a birthday you want to celebrate, schedule your very own group of family, friends, scouts, church, civic and/or co-workers! We have "friends" groups who come just because they're friends and want to share time together. And, remember, you even get to take something home! ADULT LIFE MENTORING

Mentoring is the art of tailoring one-to-one, non-judgmental, learning environments for giving and receiving wisdom. Life transition is one of the times in which mentoring is especially useful. When you feel like life is an emergency, mentoring can demonstrate that you are really in a practical or spiritual emergence -- not an emergency, but a gateway. Mentoring is particularly useful for transition in relationship, work, health, education, grief, spirituality and self-esteem. It is a process that facilitates honesty without fear. Life Transition mentoring is available to those 18 and older. Mentoring can re-ignite passion for life that gets lost in the blur of life’s rapid pace.

Individual session rates are $75 an hour. Sessions may be 1 to 3 hours and can include studio work in the arts. Call or contact Susan Brightman for scheduling.

TEENAGE ART MENTORING

Especially designed for teens aged 12 to 17, we offer a mentoring activity in two-hour sessions. Teen years are challenging. Art permits expression unique to this developmental period. Availability is limited. Reserve a spot on our waiting list. The special price for this unique unit is $90 per two-hour session. The first mentoring hour is mostly dialog. The second hour is mostly mixed media art. The combination of reaching into the intellect, emotions and art creates openness, offers a variety of releases and builds self-esteem. This is a fixed price offering including all materials.

ACTIVITY PACKAGES

Senior centers, day care centers, recreation centers, scout troops, religious groups and others can purchase specially packaged materials for in-facility ceramic projects. We have several activity packages - pick what works for you. Contact us for prices, availability and shipping. You can come to us or we will come to you. We have pricing for on-site and off-site activities.

STUDIO TIME OR KILN TIME FOR EXPERIENCED ARTISTS

Studio time can be reserved for $40 for each 2-hour session. General tools and miscellaneous supplies are included, with some exceptions. Bags of clay and bisqueware are available for purchase. Reservations are required. Firing fees are priced by the cubic inch for space consumed in the firing of the kiln.Contact Susan Brightman.
